More about the research
This collaborative project links the two needs in the Greater Charlotte region. It builds student cohorts from UNC Charlotte, Johnson C. Smith University and Central Piedmont Community College.
Why it matters
Community-serving nonprofits in Greater Charlotte could gain data analysis help for decisions about health, economic mobility and community development. Students from varied backgrounds, including community college students, would gain affordable paths and paid real-world experience in data science.
Known grants
From NIH and NSF research grants. Labs often have other funding we can't see.
